Commercial agency · Türkiye → the Nordics

Turkish building materials, represented properly in the Nordics

We are an independent commercial agency. We represent Turkish manufacturers of construction and building materials in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland — and we help Nordic buyers source from Türkiye without flying blind.

  • Industrial goods move duty-free between Türkiye and the EU under the Customs Union, with an A.TR movement certificate
  • CE marking and Declaration of Performance checked before you commit to an order
  • Factories visited in person — capacity and quality confirmed, not assumed
  • One point of contact in your time zone, in English, Swedish or Turkish

What we do

For Nordic buyers

We find, vet and manage Turkish suppliers for tile, stone, doors, façade systems and more. You get a shortlist already filtered on capacity, certification and realistic price — not an exported directory listing.

For Turkish manufacturers

We open the Nordic market: buyer introductions, pricing that works in this market, documentation that survives scrutiny, and continuous representation on the ground between your visits.

An agency, not a trader

We do not buy and resell, and we hold no stock. You contract directly with the manufacturer and see the real price. We earn a commission on concluded business, so a supply relationship that lasts is the only outcome that pays us.

Product areas

Construction and building materials are our whole focus. Depth in one field beats a catalogue that covers everything badly.

Natural stone and marble

Travertine, Marmara and Afyon marble, limestone and basalt — slabs, tiles, window sills and cut-to-size façade elements. Türkiye is one of the world's largest natural-stone exporters, and quarry-to-block traceability is normally available on request.

Ceramic tiles and sanitaryware

Floor and wall tiles, porcelain stoneware, large-format panels, plus basins, WCs and taps. Full EN 14411 classification and slip-resistance data supplied before quoting, so specification against Nordic norms is straightforward.

Doors, windows and façade systems

PVC, aluminium and steel window and door systems, fire doors, curtain-wall and ventilated façade profiles. Thermal performance is the deciding factor in the Nordics — we filter on U-value and tested system data first.

Cement, mortars and construction chemicals

Grey and white cement, tile adhesives, grouts, screeds, waterproofing membranes and admixtures. High-volume, freight-sensitive goods where full-truck and container planning decides the landed cost.

Steel, hardware and fasteners

Reinforcement, profiles, welded mesh, scaffolding components, fixings and architectural hardware. Mill certificates (EN 10204 3.1) are requested as standard before any trial order.

Insulation and dry-lining systems

EPS, XPS, mineral wool, plasterboard and profile systems. Nordic energy requirements are strict, so declared thermal conductivity and reaction-to-fire class are verified against the harmonised standard, not the brochure.

All product areas in detail

How a first order usually runs

  1. Brief

Specification, target price, annual volume, delivery terms and the norms the product has to meet.

  2. Shortlist

Three to five manufacturers that genuinely match, with indicative pricing and lead times.

  3. Factory visit

We go and look: production lines, stock, QC routines, export experience, references.

  4. Samples and documents

Samples to your address, plus DoP, test reports and certificates reviewed against the harmonised standard.

  5. Trial order

A first shipment on agreed terms, with pre-shipment inspection and full transport documentation.

  6. Ongoing supply

We stay in between: call-offs, claims, price revisions, new product lines.

Common questions

What is a handelsagent, and how is it different from an importer?

A commercial agent negotiates and mediates sales in the name of the principal but never takes ownership of the goods. An importer buys, carries the stock and the risk, and resells at a margin. With an agent you contract directly with the manufacturer, see the actual factory price, and pay a commission only on business that is actually concluded.

Do Turkish building materials carry CE marking?

Many do. Construction products covered by a harmonised European standard must carry CE marking and a Declaration of Performance, and Turkish manufacturers exporting to the EU generally have this in place. We verify it before an order rather than after, and we tell you plainly when a product falls outside the harmonised system.

Are there customs duties on goods from Türkiye?

Industrial products, which covers most construction materials, circulate freely between Türkiye and the EU under the Customs Union when accompanied by an A.TR movement certificate. Import VAT and any anti-dumping measures on specific goods still apply, and we flag those before you quote.

How long does delivery take to Sweden?

Road freight from western Türkiye to southern Sweden is typically a week to ten days in transit once loaded; sea freight to Nordic ports takes longer but is cheaper for heavy or bulky goods. Production lead time is usually the larger part of the total, so we always plan both together.
