There are thousands of suppliers, and they all look good online.

Visiting factories yourself takes days you'd rather spend on your projects.
Materials must meet Nordic requirements, and the wrong documents can cause problems on site.
We also help wholesalers, retailers and property owners buy building materials from Turkey.
Product, quantity and requirements. If anything is missing, we'll ask.
We pick a few suitable factories, visit them and go through their documents.
You get samples, prices and our notes, and you decide.
We help with the order, check the goods before shipping on request, and stay on for repeat orders.
General reasons Turkey can be worth a look. They are not promises: costs, duties and delivery times depend on the case, and we check them for yours.
Most industrial goods, including most building materials, can move from Turkey into the EU without customs duty when shipped with an A.TR certificate. VAT still applies, and some products, such as certain steel, can be covered by other trade measures.
Road freight from Turkey to the Nordics usually takes days rather than the weeks of sea freight from East Asia. Actual transit times depend on the route, the carrier and the season.
Turkey has a large construction-materials industry — stone, ceramics, cement, steel, insulation and profiles among others — and many manufacturers already export to EU markets.
Turkey has aligned its rules for construction products with the EU's, so CE marking and the Declaration of Performance work the same way as for products made in the EU.
Shorter transport can make smaller and more frequent orders practical, which ties up less money in stock. Minimum order quantities vary from factory to factory.
Turkey is one to two hours ahead of the Nordics, depending on the time of year, so the working days largely overlap.
Construction and building materials with CE marking. These are the areas we work in most.
Travertine, Marmara and Afyon marble, limestone and basalt — slabs, tiles, window sills and cut-to-size façade elements. Turkey is a major natural-stone exporter; where traceability from quarry to block matters, we ask the supplier for it.
Floor and wall tiles, porcelain stoneware, large-format panels, plus basins, WCs and taps. We ask for the EN 14411 classification and slip-resistance data before quoting, so you can check the product against Nordic requirements.
PVC, aluminium and steel window and door systems, fire doors, curtain-wall and ventilated façade profiles. Thermal performance matters most in the Nordics, so we look at U-values and tested system data first.
Grey and white cement, tile adhesives, grouts, screeds, waterproofing membranes and admixtures. High-volume, freight-sensitive goods where full-truck and container planning has a big effect on the landed cost.
Reinforcement, profiles, welded mesh, scaffolding components, fixings and architectural hardware. We request mill certificates (EN 10204 3.1) before any trial order.
EPS, XPS, mineral wool, plasterboard and profile systems. Nordic energy requirements are strict, so we check declared thermal conductivity and reaction-to-fire class against the harmonised standard, not the brochure.
It can be, for many products. Turkey is close to the Nordics and has a customs union with the EU. Whether it pays off depends on the product, the volume and the supplier, so we look at your case before you commit.
We only suggest factories with CE-marked products, visit them and go through their test reports. Checks reduce the risk but can't remove it, and if something doesn't add up, we tell you.
The first conversation is free. If we work together, we agree the fee in writing before we start. We are paid only by you. We never take money from factories.
The first conversation is free. We'll tell you straight whether buying from Turkey makes sense for you.
